These databases can be used by any patron of the Chino Valley Public Library with a valid library card. Please click on the site you need and use your library card number and your pin number to login if requested. Some resources are only available on the library computers.

We now have 5 new databases for use as of August 2022. They are:

  • Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center (EBSCO) Got a hobby you’d like to nurture? Looking for a new activity to pass the time? Our library provides free access to Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center, a database from EBSCO containing thousands of articles from top hobby and craft magazines and books as well as recipes, “how-to” videos and hobby profiles.
  • Home Improvement Reference Center (EBSCO) Looking to install a new door, fix a leaky faucet, or spruce up your garden? You’ve come to the right place! Our library provides free access to Home Improvement Reference Center, a database from EBSCO containing thousands of articles from leading home improvement magazines and reference books, plus a collection of home repair images not found anywhere else online. 
  • Gale Presents: Udemy An online learning platform for adults who want to improve work-related skills or further develop a personal interest. Users can search through more than 4,000 continuously updated, on-demand video courses across 75 categories in business, technology, design, and more. All courses are taught by world-class instructors and offer a tailor-made learning experience for those who want to learn new technologies and skills to stay competitive in a changing workforce. 
  • Gale Business: Entrepreneurship  Gives business owners 24-hour expertise covering a day all aspects of starting and operating a business, including finance, management, marketing, human resources, franchising, accounting, and taxes. Contains hundreds of sample business plans created by real-life entrepreneurs, award-winning eBooks, as well as content from over 300 business journals and magazines. 
  • Gale Business: Plan Builder Business planning can be a complex and unfamiliar process. Often, entrepreneurs don’t know what kind of information they need, where to find it, or how to get started. Gale Business: Plan Builder brings it all together by offering an engaging, step-by-step guided experience–complete with the information and tools needed to move through the entire business development life cycle. Ancestry is available at the library's computers only.
