What is a “Home Occupation?”
A vocation, trade or profession that is conducted entirely within the home by member(s) of the family, and that does not alter the residential character of the surrounding neighborhood. Only home businesses within the Town limits need to so indicate on the Business License application. Before applying for your business license, you should contact the Development Services Department to determine if your proposed home business is permitted.
