PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF INTENT
PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 9-499.15
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-499.15, the Town of Chino Valley hereby gives notice that it may increase its transaction privilege tax rate on manufactured building sales from 2% to 3% and provides this written notice of the proposed increase.
The proposed increased tax is based on a written report prepared by the Town Finance Director. A schedule of the proposed increased tax and a copy of the written report and data supporting the increase may be reviewed during normal office hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Town Clerk’s office, located at 202 North State Route 89, Chino Valley, Arizona. A copy of the written report and data is also available on the Town’s website at www.chinoaz.net.
The Chino Valley Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed increased tax on August 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, 202 N. State Route 89, Chino Valley, Arizona.
IF APPROVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL, THE INCREASED TAX WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2025.
