PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF INTENT
PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 9-499.15
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-499.15, the Town of Chino Valley hereby gives notice that it may increase its transaction privilege tax rate on manufactured building sales and provides this written notice of the proposed increase.
The proposed increased tax is based on a written report prepared by the Town Finance Director. A schedule of the proposed increased tax and a copy of the written report and data supporting the increase may be reviewed during normal office hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Town Clerk’s office, located at 202 North State Route 89, Chino Valley, Arizona. A copy of the written report and data is also available on the Town’s website at www.chinoaz.net.
The Chino Valley Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed increased tax on August 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, 202 N. State Route 89, Chino Valley, Arizona.
IF APPROVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL, THE INCREASED TAX WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2025.
