In accordance with Governor Doug Ducey’s announcement on April 29, 2020 of a return to "Temporary Normal" by allowing certain businesses and services to expand operation beginning May 4, 2020, the Town of Chino Valley has announced that some recreational features will open next week.
The open grass areas at the Community Center Park, located at the corner of Road 1 East and Perkinsville Road, as well as the Pickleball Courts at the same location, will be open to the public beginning Monday, May 4, 2020.
These will be available to individuals and small groups of four persons or less, all social distancing guidelines and other precautions from the Governor’s office and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention should continue to be practiced.
All Town playground equipment and the softball and baseball fields at Community Center Park will remain closed to the public until further notice.
The parks, playground equipment, and ball fields were closed on April 4, 2020 in accordance with Governor Ducey’s "Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected" Executive Order dated March 30, 2020.
