“Patricia Paisano” a metal sculpture by artist Vivian Wells, a fifth generation Chino Valley resident, depicts a mother roadrunner presenting food for her young ones. This piece is one of several Wells has planned for the expansion project.

The sculptures are being paid for completely through donations and library grants according to Community Services Director Scott Bruner.

“My family came to this area in covered wagons back in the 1880’s and I have lived here for 55 years,” said Wells, “I hope that with these pieces we can remind the community that there’s an awful lot of great artists’ right here in Chino Valley.”
